German designer Manuel Welsky’s SCRW Stool allows users to stylishly adjust the seat’s height for the perfect fit.
From the website: Made from a high-quality steel pipe, the frame is an exciting contrast to the cork material from which the body is made. The massive cork cylinder appears light in this combination. Its unique features provide a comfortable seating experience.

3. Nest Learning Thermostat

Feel disappointed that your thermostat doesn’t make any effort to get to know you? The Nest Learning Thermostat, created by prolific inventer Tony Fadell (he holds over 100 patents!), asks you a few questions and gets to know your temperature preferences. After about a week, it will take care of regulating the temperature automatically. Fadell explains: “Turns out you change the temperature in your house 1500 times a year. 1500! Our thermostat learns what temperatures you like so it can program itself. It senses when you’re out and turns itself down. And we started from scratch with design, so it’s beautiful. Gorgeous hardware, easy install, fully integrated software, remote control from your smartphone.”
Options include remote access and energy-saving modules. Priced at $249. Order yours here.

3. Modular ‘Love Mattress’ Made Flexible for Cuddly Couples

This bed-topping design by Mehdi Mojtabvi proposes a different-but-parallel approach, turning a single-piece cushioned support into multiple modules.

After a day of sexy chair-sitting and classy lighting, it’s time to get into bed and cuddle in comfort with the Love Mattress, brought to you by Iranian designer Mehdi Mojtabvi.
In an interview with freshome.com, Mojtabvi described his inspiration for the Love Mattress: “I believe that lovely embracing specially between partners is one of the most calmative and continues situations. Embracing and body connection after lovemaking is very important for strengthening relationships. […] Nevertheless, what usually stops this pleasant state is not mental tiredness; it is physical weakness. Considering different body forms and sizes and sleeping styles, it seemed impossible to find a solution for this historical problem at the beginning. Developing some raw ideas and correcting them step by step made this concept.”

Denmark designer Christian Flindt created this chic, modern design. For more information click here.
